Exam
On your visit we will focus on you, your comfort, happiness, and dental health. Your exam visit will include:
| • | Review of your complete dental and medical history. |
| • | Discussion of any particular concerns or questions you would like to express about your dental needs. |
| • | X-rays and intra-oral photos of your teeth and mouth. |
| • | A comprehensive oral exam that includes oral cancer screening, soft and hard tissue exam, an assessment of your teeth and gum health, and inspection for any cavities or early signs of tooth decay. |
| • | Inspection of existing restorations: current fillings, crowns, etc. |
Your doctor will then review your dental and medical health history forms and completed dental exam. Afterward, your doctor will provide you with a dental consultation, and information about any additional dental treatments you, or your family, may need.
Dental Cleaning

Your cleaning will vary based on your exam and our registered dental hygienists will determine what type of cleaning is appropriate for you. This may include scaling of the teeth and gums, removal of surface stains, tartar, plaque, fluoride application, and polishing the teeth to give them the proper shine you deserve. If additional concerns are noticed during your exam, our team will discuss options for treatment and offer advice so you can make the best-informed decision about your oral health.
