Dr. Alejandro Arango moved to Colorado Springs when he was 10 years old. He graduated with a double major from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in painting and drawing and a degree in art history. Part of what drove Dr. Arango’s interest in dentistry is the profession’s use of both art and science. After college, he attended Roseman University College of Dental Medicine in Salt Lake City. He graduated with honors and is a member of the national honors dental society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. After dental school, Dr. Arango furthered his clinical skills as a resident at the University of Colorado General Practice Residency. There, he received advanced training in treatment planning, implantology, cosmetics, Endodontics (root canal therapy), clear aligners, and prosthodontics. Dr. Arango has a patient-first philosophy and is looking forward to working with patients at Crossroads Family Dental to develop treatment plans that best suit his patients’ needs. In his free time, Dr. Arango enjoys the outdoors (skiing, mountain biking, and hiking) and spending time with his wife, Theresa, and family.
