- Review of your complete dental and medical history.
- Discussion of any particular concerns or questions you would like to express about your dental needs.
- X-rays of your teeth and mouth.
- A comprehensive oral exam that includes oral cancer screening, soft and hard tissue exam, an assessment of your teeth and gum health, and inspection for any cavities or early signs of tooth decay.
Your doctor will then review your dental and medical health history forms, and complete dental exam. Afterward, your doctor will provide you with a dental consultation, and information about any additional dental treatments you, or your family, may need.
